Auflage des ersten jemals im Haus Märklin für die Spurweite H0 gefertigten Krokodil-Prototyps aus dem Jahre 1936. Fahrwerk und Aufbau aus Zinkdruckguss. Beide Drehgestelle mit Blindwellen und Kuppelstangen angetrieben. Ab Werk eingebauter mfx-Decoder, so kann die Lok auch auf heutigen Anlagen eingesetzt werden. Aufgrund der Nachbildung des historischen Musters muss ein ausreichendes Lichtraumprofil gewährleistet sein. Lichtwechsel, analog betriebsfähig. Federnde Dachstromabnehmer ohne elektrische Funktion.
Länge über Puffer 21 cm.Ursprünglich war das Modell des Krokodils in H0 bereits 1936 geplant, und sollte unter der Artikelnummer CCS 700 auf den Markt kommen. Doch es blieb - nicht zuletzt wegen der Zeitumstände - bei einem Prototyp. Erst 1947 wurde ein H0-Modell des Krokodils unter der Nummer CCS 800 - die spätere 3015 - vorgestellt.
