Prototype information
We are congratulating the SBB Swiss Federal Railways on the occasion of their 100th anniversary with the 4th locomotive from our Swiss Collection - the latter is SBB locomotives decorated by Märklin that are in operation in these designs for a year on the Swiss rail network. The theme of the service cap of a high railroad official at the beginning of the 20th century is the decoration on this SBB class 460 locomotive: embroidered golden oak leaves and the Swiss cross in the center on a serrated medallion with a halo. A proud symbol for 100 years of railroad history that Märklin can thank for some of the most beautiful models ever.
