14.1 Facebook Pixel for creating custom audiences (with cookie consent tool) Within our online offering, we use the so-called "Facebook Pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Quare, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). When a user clicks on an advertisement placed by us on Facebook, the URL of our linked page is appended with an additional parameter by Facebook Pixel. If our page allows the sharing of data with Facebook through Pixel, this URL parameter is written into the user's browser via a cookie that is set by our linked page. This cookie is then read by Facebook Pixel, allowing the data to be forwarded to Facebook. With the help of the Facebook Pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our online offering as a target group for displaying advertisements (so-called "Facebook Ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel to show the Facebook Ads we have placed only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined based on visited web pages), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). With the help of the Facebook Pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook Ads correspond to the potential interests of users and do not appear intrusive. In this way, we can continue to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertising for statistical and market research purposes by tracking whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook Ad (so-called "Conversion"). The data collected is anonymous to us, and therefore does not allow us to draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data, allowing a connection to the respective user profile, and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the Facebook data usage policy (https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/). The data may enable Facebook and its partners to display advertisements on and off Facebook. The data processing associated with the use of Facebook Pixel is carried out only with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please remove the checkmark next to the setting for "Facebook Pixel" in the cookie consent tool integrated on the website.

In addition, Google AdSense also uses "web beacons" (small invisible graphics) to collect information, which can be used to record, collect, and evaluate simple actions such as visitor traffic on the website.

The information generated by the cookie and/or web beacon (including your IP address) about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there. This may also involve transmission to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.

Google uses the information obtained in this way to perform an analysis of your usage behavior with regard to AdSense ads. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google AdSense is not merged with other data from Google. Details on the data processing initiated by Google AdSense and on Google's handling of website data can be found here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

16.3 Pinterest Retargeting Pixel This website uses a pixel (Pinterest Tag) from Pinterest Europe Ltd. (Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland) to collect, store, and evaluate information about the website visitors' browsing behavior in pseudonymized form. If personal data is also processed in this context, it is based on our legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Pinterest may also combine the information collected via the pixel with additional information that Pinterest has collected about other websites and/or in connection with the use of the social network "Pinterest" to create pseudonymous user profiles. 16.3.1 Pinterest Tag Conversion Tracking This website uses the conversion tracking technology "Pinterest Tag" from Pinterest Europe Ltd., Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.

If you have come to our website from a pin on Pinterest, we set a cookie on your computer that interacts with a "tag" implemented in the form of a JavaScript code from Pinterest. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. These cookies expire after 180 days and are not used for personal identification.

If the user is redirected from a pin on Pinterest to pages on this website and the cookie has not yet expired, the tag records certain user actions defined by us and can track them (e.g. completed transactions, leads, website search queries, product page views). When such an action is performed, your browser sends an HTTP request from the cookie via the Pinterest tag to the Pinterest server, transmitting certain information about the action (including the type of action, time, and browser type of the device).

Through this transmission, Pinterest can create statistics about user behavior on our website after being redirected from a Pinterest pin, which we use to optimize our offerings. If personal user data is processed in this context, it is based on our legitimate interest in the statistical evaluation of the success of product ads on Pinterest and user purchasing behavior in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, and serves to optimize our online offerings. However, we do not receive any information that allows us to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object by deactivating the Pinterest Tag conversion tracking cookie through your internet browser's user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Alternatively, you can check whether advertising cookies from Microsoft are set in your browser and deactivate them using the deactivation page for consumers in the EU at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

For more information about Pinterest's privacy policy, please visit the following website: https://policy.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy. If legally required, we have obtained your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the processing of your data as described above. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the aforementioned option to object.

The display of this content is based on cookie-based analysis of previous usage behavior, but no personal data is stored. For this interest-based content determination, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to capture pseudonymized data about your browsing behavior and thus customize the content individually to the stored information.

If the collected and evaluated information has a personal reference, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in displaying personalized page content and in market research.

To generally deactivate the use of cookies on your device, you can set your internet browser so that no more cookies can be stored on your device in the future or cookies that have already been stored will be deleted. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy. In particular, you may exercise your right to lodge a complaint in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
